Steve's practice is focused in the litigation of medical malpractice, serious personal injury, and insurance bad faith cases. He is licensed to practice in Kentucky, and before the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.


Steve is a member of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys and serves on the KATA Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Steve serves on the Board of Governors of ATLA's New Lawyer Division, and is a member of ATLA's Birth Trauma Litigation Group, Medical Negligence Section and Insurance Law Section. He is also a member of the Louisville Bar Association.

He has contributed to several publications, including Medical Malpractice in Kentucky and KATA's Handling the Brain Injury Case. He also served as editor of the latest edition of KATA's Auto Case Essentials. He has lectured on numerous topics, including "Medical Records Review and Analysis", "Technology & the Law", "An Introduction to Colossus" and "Statutes of Limitation in Kentucky".


A native of Louisville, Steve attended duPont Manual High School and the Youth Performing Arts School, graduating in 1988. He graduated in 1992 from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky with a B.A. in Philosophy. In 1998 he received his J.D. from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.


Steve recently participated in Leadership Louisville Center's Ignite Louisville program and in the "Get on Board" program offered through the Center for Non-profit Excellence in Louisville. He remains very active in community service in the Louisville area.
